Welcome to Reading Intervention!

Greetings,

I am Mrs. N. Sparks, a Reading Interventionist here at George Washington Carver Elementary School.  I began my teaching career here at GWC in 2006. I earned my Bachelor and Master of Education degrees at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama.  

It is my belief that with proper resources and continuous support every child can learn.  Our classroom climate that is one that is positive and conducive to learning.  I encourage my students to be themselves and to be independent thinkers.  We value and respect the diversity in our classroom.  All students take responsibility for their learning and encourage each other to strive for excellence. 

Our class motto is “Together Everyone Achieves More” (TEAM).  I will  put forth my very best effort to effectively educate your child. And I ask that you put forth your very best effort to help your child and me. I am excited about this school year and  I look forward to working as a team with each of you.
